I've not been to an Air Display since I was a young lad, so this was a fantasic day, as the title suggest's i've never tried to photograph planes before so excuse and poor framing etc, I'm used to Motorsports photography :oops:

Also these are straight from the camera as I haven't had time for any PP or Cropping yet.

You have some cracking shots in there...
I just don't believe this was your first attempt!!!

Thanks, I took about 700+ photos though so were bound to be a few good ones. I had a lot of trouble keeping focus, I was using the centre point, and no monopod which didn't help hehe.

The Red Arrow Hawk on the runway was very similar to panning a Sports Car on a track ;)

heheh...I looked at the great photos, scrolled down, saw "55-200", thought "Woah! Thats mad...a 55-200", scrolled down a bit more, saw bigma, and sighed :)

Very nice. What a nice clear day ! With some of the aircraft in after burner [AB] I can almost feel the rumble here! Johnathan
