I am not sure who let you into my studio, but it needs a bit of tidying up.
Besides for that, it is a lovely and cozy place.
On the serious side, that place is truly a find. Unless I was breaking and Entering, I would spend quite some time taking all sorts of photos. From macros or creative closeups, to some of the cool images you've posted so far.
Interested to see where this thread keeps going...

Thanks for your comments. I'll see if I can get back there. the place was literally being held up by rafters supporting arches and the floor above - I didn't fancy wandering around too far. in fact you could hardly wander that far anyway because the third picture (looking down) is where I'm standing in a door way and the floor has disappeared - wood floor rotted away. behind me is a solid stone floor but a few wooded support struts I didn't fancy bumping into. there was no way I was going down into the hole - a 6 or 7 foot drop, regardless of how interesting all that junk is! I've got a shot looking straight up that I'll post when I get back home...shows that its just a hollow shell now.

These look great. That color is wild. Do you have a Photoshop action, or some set of steps for your cross processing technique?

i used a curves correction layer to boost colours and alter them and then applied a colour correcting layer over that to reduce the saturation a bit. the result is what you see.

Very interesting place, and interesting angles in your shots.
(One kind request: the size of the pics could be a bit larger (now 600 x 400 pix), to reveal more details.)

they could but having had some scum screw me and cause a copyright problem in the past, 600px on the long side is as big as I'm willing to go on the web
