nice portraits, but if your shooting seniors where are the pics of the students in cap and gown, or ones showing off the senior class ring?

Seniors these days don't do that. I'm not only a high school senior portrait photographer, but the yearbook advisor as well. Most of the kids are photographed with sports equipment, their car, a pet, and/or in an outdoor location. And the bulk of them have their parent or a friend do their pictures with a digicam. You just don't see a lot of studio shots these days.

I have seen some pretty fantastic senior portraits. I recently reformatted my C drive and lost all my bookmarks, so I can't really back up my statement :o
The link you provided is pretty good, but there are better ones out there. I'll try to find some later on and post a link.

Holy crap... kids didn't look like this when I was in high school. All the girls look like models and the guys look like rock stars. What's up with that? What high school are these from?
He did an outstanding job

Hmmm!!! Anybody heard of Models. Most top models are of high school age and become old before they can drive. I don't think those are from any one school but accumulation of various school.
Yes they are very good.

It's not a thing that they really do in the UK, although I believe a few schools do it nowadays, Just wasn't done in my time and I'm not that old either!!

Wow some SERIOUS post processing issues. I still have polaroid pictures taken in the early 70's that look just like those.
Jimmy on the other hand you're work is excellent! LOVE THE LIGHT and perspectives and creative focal length usage. Change serio's link to yours... ;-)

Just adding my 2 cents. This guy is in Washington, has an awesome 5 acre "studio park" and does great work with local seniors.

For my money, it's this forum's own, TonyR0584. Check his work out. IMO better than anything you have shown me. But this guy is local and his stuff seriously rocks. http://www.duenkel.com/hs_seniors/index.html

You may think that these are issues, but he's pretty popular in his market for his style. He posts frequently over at FM
He's main focus is weddings which seem to have the same the same look and his clients love him. Like they say,to each his own....
