I confess, I'm really an SLR guy who bought a PowerShot S70 because it's easier to travel with. I like the S70 just fine. I shoot RAW and use CF cards, so the S70 is perfect for me. Except, the fingers of my right hand keep messing up. I don't know how many times I've accidentally moved the sliding lens cover by accident just enough to shut the camera down! That's really disturbing! Here I am, standing on the curb for 20 minutes, waiting for the President's motorcade to arrive, and when it finally shows up? Bingo! I accidentally shut off the camera just before I was going to snap the picture. What a duffus! It makes me crazy! Do any of you who use the PowerShots with the sliding lens cover have this problem too? Have any of you found a good solution for avoiding this problem?
(Yeah, yeah I know. "Keep your fingers off the lens cover." But, how do you hold the camera then?)
