So I've had my G2 for a month now and I put some of the better pictures I've taken with it online.
Please let me know what you think. I'm pretty new to all of this so I've still got a lot to learn!

Gordon:
You are a gifted photographer. Your composition choices are exquisite. I just received my G2 this week, and your galleries are inspiring me.
What a camera!

Great shots, I wish that I could see the opportunities !
* lots of satrurated color in your floras
* the protrait of Amanda is just excellent(no eye contact, white, soft facials, black hair)
*But, I am not convinced about B & W. ( Mh Dad only had B & W to work with and his own basement dark room)
*In particular the lakeside chair did not work for me.
* The wedding pics were fine. I liked the nite scenes in the hotel courtyard and Chartes street.

Hi there,
thanks for all the pro and con comments. I'm only really learning with the B&W stuff. Some of it seems to work better than others and I'm trying to understand the approach.
So it has now been 8 weeks with a G2. I've learned a whole lot about photography from 2 months ago without a clue. This camera is a great learning tool - love the cost of film to experiment with !
I put a new set of pictures up last week, from a recent trip to Princeton, NJ.
cheers,
Gordon
