we were going hiking to iceberg lake yesterday when some one said they saw a grizzly bear on the trail. so we high tailed it up to that spot, either luckly or not, there were park rangers there allready closing the trial, the bear was not on the trail it was up the hill from the trail about 30 feet, the pictures were all that i could get, they wouldnt let us go any farther or stay any longer, we hadn to go back, that didnt bother me too much, i was not in the mood to be malled by a grizzly yesterday, the bear is believed to be a sub adult. then we saw 2 cubs playing in the feild about 1/2 mile away.. i got what i could but i didnt get very good shots at all... they are very hard to see... the distance and all..
the bear didnt seem to pose any danger, it didnt even care that there was 100 people standing with in 100 ft of it. however being a wild animal, you never know. despite the not so good pictures, it was a cool experance.
