I've seen some great threads here where people share a theme of shots. I'd be interested in seeing other samples of night shots. I went out for my first time to try some here using my tripod and various settings. Not sure what I could have done with this to make it sharper as I can't blame camera movement and such.

These were very quick shots.. Lots of quality lost in the compression unfortunately.

shutter speed 1/8 f/4.5
Since you were using a tripod, I would have used a longer shutter speed to get more detail in the picture. But then you have to be careful not to overexpose the neon signs too much.
