The really is beautiful Marie - reminds me of the work of Alfred Heaton Cooper (http://www.heatoncooper.co.uk/) Wonder what it would look like printed.

WOW! I love the watercolor filter. Looks like the kind of place you could photo all year long.

PERFECT effect you put on it. Any more or any less just wouldn't have had the same effect. Get that baby printed up! :-D

many thanks Damian, JT , Highlandpiper and Dimitri
:)
here's one of the Autumn scenes, if it's ok
its a gorgeous area and very quite even though there were three boys splashing about in the river
(just outside the scene you see above)
their thrilling shouts of joy on seeing a fish swim past was just magic
seemed to have an echo all around. reminded me of something years ago. I used mess about in the local river .
probably the 'quiet' summery sounds reminded me of that time
here the water was dead still, except where the boys broke it in parts with their movements.
when I took a shot of the boys, their reflection was so perfect you would think it was the original photograph and not the other way around
thanks again

These are nicely made Marie, and (this is not intended as an insult) these photos would be great for painting-by-numbers kits. :)

sorry too Damian
I forgot to mention 'Alfred Heaton Cooper'
thanks for that
I never usually compare pictures or 'painting's':) with anyone else's work but it's always interesting to see all and everything
I guess we all have our own style
which is the beauty in what we do
(I guess)
it should be nice printed up.
thanks JT too

Welcome to the forum
I saw this software in a computer store
'Photo Art Master Classic' is the title
just a cheaper version of what I later saw on their site Fo2PiX.com
I am not too sure , don't know if PhotoArtMasterClassic is on the site
the one I use only cost about 15 to 19 Euro
I am starting to forget (but not to regret)
the others I saw advertised on the site seem to be much more expensive.
the original photo (I feel) must be suitable for what end result you want. its very simple to use
best of luck

Lovely shots Marie and great use of the filter. :)
You're right about the site it's here (http://www.fo2pix.co.uk). Its either part of the professional package Buzz 3 or you can buy it as a stand alone in the semi pro area.
Nicely done though......
