This time of year causes a problem for me as I have to take shots indoors in the warmth after been out in the cold for 2 hours,is there any easier way that keep wiping your lens every 30 secs. I took some last sat and they still have a hazy effect on them ,any assistance would be handy.
thanks

Zip the camera/lens into a ziplock bag before going indoors, pushing most of the air out. Then let the combo warm up to room temp in the bag. The warm air will condense on the bag instead of the equipment. You still have to wait for things to warm up reasonably, though.

The only thing I can think of would be to get an electric blanket and plug it into an inverter plugged into the car lighter and then keep it over the camera equipment.
That or wait 30-45 minutes for the camera and lenses to warm up.
For trivia, the plastic lenses (28-135IS) warm up faster then the good metal ones (28-70L) as I learned in Jamaica this past Sept.

Thanks for your advice, I have about 20 mins before I have to shoot so I'll give these theories a try. Last saturday I spent 20 mins frantically polished the lens both ends and the mirror in my body and they still didnt come out too good, thanks again

For the love of God! Don't polish the mirror! You can inflict great damage! The ziplock bag trick works. Keep the cap on the lens, and the lens on the body. Take the lens off a cold body in a warm room, and you are just asking for moisture damage.
