Some sample photos of Canon 300D + Tamron 28-300mm XR zoom len:

It seems that the len is acceptable although there are lots of bad comments in overseas users.

Any other user comments?

Excellent pictures. Is that a photoshop blur in the background of the violin player or DOF at work? Either way it looks great. Just curious.

Best of luck with the lens. I had the 28-200 XR Tamron and it is the worst lens I have ever used to date. You cannot use it at 200 MM the images are unusable and very bad and I tried every thing I could to make it work for me. Having "L" and EF and Sigma EX lenses that are tack sharp have spoiled me in a way. I found this lens a very poor performer form 28-200 it just is not worth the money. I now have the tokina 24-200 ATX and it is a winner of a lens and very good optically. I would highly recommend the Tokina to any one but stay away for the Tamron.

thank you,
Angelo
