Hi there,
Im a Sydney girl, wanting to do a photogrpahy course that is longer than one of those 8 week things.
I want to learn the techniques but also am looking for it to head into some sort of career if possible.
Maybe freelance, photojournalism...
Does anyone know what some of the best courses in Sydney are?
Does that Australian College of Journalism actually have any cred either?

Too bad you are in a wrong Sydney.
UCCB (University College of Cape Breton) Sydney Nova Scotia, Canada offers a evening course.

Manda, there are scores of Photography courses in Sydney if you shop around in google.com Mind you doing a course doesn't necessarily mean you will learn it all. It only helps learn a few things better(depending on your mentor), my personal opinion is that you visit a TAFE Course Information and visit some private Course Informations centres as well.

hi
i am looking at doing that course with the Australian College of Journalism as well. I have the full course guide and it seems to be a better course than others I have looked at. I looked at one at my local TAFE but it seemed that padded with crap it was not funny (out of 20 odd modules it had 2 on photography..)
