I have been using photobucket ever since I've joind this site. When I would post my IMG's the images were decent size and it was great.

However, lately I noticed that regardless what size I upload to photobucket. When I paste the IMG's I get the these little images. I have "done"anything diffrent. Anyone have any ideas....

Also, I could paste a let say 5-6 images of all the size(I do 740 on the long side). Then when I view my page I created here. Some images are the small and one or two would be the normal size (what I call normal size)

Here is an example of what I mean. Keep in mind all the images in this post are the same size!!!

i think that its the original size that you are uploading is over their threshold, so they are then reduced in size to reduce file size. It was happening to me too without anything, so I started resizing via Picasa2 and no longer had any problems when I exported at 800 pixels and 80% quality

but if the actual size of the file is larger than 100 or 200k or whatever it is (too high of dpi maybe?) then it will auto shrink it.

I use Photobucket too. Some problem may be with file size. Some problem with Photobucket.

Some image appear right size but some always too big even when resize to 25% on Photobucket.

Sometime picture never even appear just link.

dunno if you tried this, but i was wondering this too and read that photobucket is sneaky- they have an option in your user settings for the max photo size...by default, its 256k. you need to go into your account settings and change it to the 1 meg max.

its 2 megs if you pay for their premium service.

1 meg per photo will slow the board way down. theres no reason for it to be that big, its just for web use
