As bad as that movie was,...I think I actually have stopped to watch it more than once.

I love this! Too bad the profile of the person is on the right side.

Like how the mannequin on the left is leening over. Nice!

misskitty, Gary - thank you for your comments and I'm glad you like the image.

misskitty - "too bad"? Hmmm,..and I was so happy to have caught the silhouette and managed to finish it just so in PS...oh well...there have been others on other sites who have agreed with you...

Yeah, they block that splash of color there to the right with the profile. It draws me away form the window wondering who it is and what they look like. Competes for my attention.

This is a bad thing?

I am not sure it is "bad" but it competes with the window for me.

Remember each person is different in what the like/don't like. What is a distraction for me can be intresting for another person.

I wouldn't call it bad at all. It just draws me away from the window which is the main subject in the pic.

You know, the problem might not be the profile of the person over there. It might just be the color itself that surrounds the profile that is competing with the window?

Or, as someone else has mentioned, it is just too close to the edge of the frame and looks accidental. I waited until I could get a person in passing but I guess the positioning is off...

Try again.

I have shot the same pic over 200 times and I still haven't gotten what I *see* in my head captured. One day I will tho... Or I will be so crazy that I no longer care :D

Love it.

The guy in the photo doesn't bother me, I just wish instead of at the edge of the photo he were in front of the window with his palm pressed flat to it. ;) Just kidding - kinda.

my first post here. i'm so stoked that a friend recommended me to this treasure trove!

tuna - looked as some of your other stuff at fotograflarim and i was blown away by your black and white. i love the vary black, very sharp, very detailed images, and i'd love to know more about how you achieved them. i'm a digital amateur want-to-be, and starved for knowledge.

thanks in advance.

You've nailed it once again. It speaks best to me just as it is! I'm glad you waited for that moment. Completely different story without person or even placed in another location, and I like this tale.

I like it! - I do think the 'models' need to eat a few pies though, a bit thin for my taste :-)
