Hi,
I just purchased an i960 printer, the printer comes with the following icc profiles:
i960 MP1
i960 PR1
i960 PR2
i960 SP1
does anyone know which of these profiles are used for which canon papers. (I assume each is used for a specific paper)
Thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry, not sure. I can say that I have the i950 and have discovered that InkJetGoodies.com sells ICC profiles for the i950 for use with Canon PPP and Office Depot Premium paper.
You will eventually need ink carts for the i960 and paper. IJG and OD paper seem to be the price alternative choice for hundreds of informed folks which would make the i960 supplied profiles obsolete if you choose this direction.
My i950 didn't come with any profiles (unless I was too slow to comprehend them :) ) so I purchased a special profile from Cathy. I must have messed up in the conversion/color profile assignment before print because Cathy's profile never really worked.
The InkJetGoodies profile? Don't know; Just received it and am afraid to try it out due to the hundreds of dollars I have spent trying to achieve a simple "What You See Is What You Print". I'm not there yet but have paper and software invested waiting in the wings for me to try. All I need is courage and a "What the hell!! It's only Money!!" attitude to go forward from this point.
Good Luck, My Friend.

Profiles often have a more meaningful descriptive title embedded within the profile. I don't know if this is the case with your profiles, but with WinXP you can right click the file, select Properties and then the Profile Information tab, where the title is listed.
