Hi,

does anyone have an opinion on how the Kodak DCS 520 compares with the Canon D30?

It's a digital SLR based on the Canon EOS 1N with a 2 MP Kodak sensor with 1,6 crop factor.

The 2 MP is less than the D30's 3 MP, but my best guess is that the EOS 1N body should have its advantages in build quality and Autofocus performance.

Any comment would be highly appreciated, as I am pondering a used one that's on sale!

Best regards,
Andy

Aren't they really awkward to get parts and service for though? (the Kodak)

Actually, I'd be dreaming of the DCS 560 (6 MP, only 1,3 crop factor).

About a month ago, a used DCS 560 sold for about 1500 $ on eBay ... seemed a great price for a D1 competitor with a larger sensor.
