My first shot with the rebel

I've been reading this forum for a while...and now I finally got a Rebel XT. So here it goes...Be gentle. :)

Very nice. Beautiful pose and expression.

If it were mine, I might blur the grass a little bit, and reduce (the grass) contrast and darken the left side of the picture. And work on selectively finding some highlights in the skin (I can see that yo have already hit white in the trousers and the background stones).

New cameras can do no wrong - don't mind me; go out and have fun.
