s400: Ugly pink glare on some flash pics

I know the pic sucks, but its the only one I didn't delete with the pink glare thing on it.

Sometimes I get this ugly pink flare on pictures when I flash. It will keep taking pics like this, but when I turn it off and back on again its fixed, magically.
It has happened in both manual or point-and-shoot mode.
Normally it works fine, this happens maybe like 10% of the time i take flash pics.
Anyone have similar issues or know what to do?

Looks like it could be a light leak.

Perhaps a light seal is loose and will sometimes let light filter in the the CCD.

Perhaps you could try e-mailing Canon with the picture and see what they recommend. (Likely "send it in.")
