Ok
I got myself a second hand 1D and this was the first time of using at the football which is what it was bought for
extremely bright conditions with loads of clouds meant I went for AV mode
but after a few shots I felt the exposures were all over the place so switched to manual
I got a few but blew the highlights on a few as well as I got used to the new beast
but for the AF alone this camera is worth every penny
blows my 20D out of the park
still to decide what whay to go with the camera lens combination
I started yesterday with the 120-300 on the 20D and the 80-200 on the 1D
but switched later
thoughts were that the 20D with its 8MP has more cropping potential

anyway I love the camera, but its now down to yours truly to get things right to get the best from it
here are a few all with the 1D
