Ok it's coming close to Christmas time and the family is asking for gift ideas...
So where can I direct them to find the best prices on
Stuff for the 10D
BP-511 battery
512 Mb CF card
Hoya IR filter
and would anyone recommend any other must have's?
Thanks,

For CF Cards I suggest www. computers4sure.com. For extra batteries try http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=232733&is=REG
I use two Power 2000 batteries and a Power 2000 charger. You could also get a B+W Circular Polarizer.

Scott,
Thanks for the referrals.
I'm not familiar with the Power 2000 batteries..What is their coorilation to the BP-511 for the 10D? I assumed that is what I needed to buy.
I've used regular circular polarizers before, how does the B+W Polarizer differ?
Thanks gain for your input...

Here's a great place to get BP-511s at rock bottom prices. I've also bought 2 EN-EL1 batteries for my wife's Nikon 995 and all have worked just as well as the OEM versions.
Merry Xmas!

I think the best prices and selection for CF is http://www.newegg.com. A 512 MB Transcend 45x is $129 USD and their service is second to none.
