Old Egg Slicer

Love B&W still experimenting - found this old egg slicer we had in a drawer and thought I would set up this shot.

Please critique for me please!

It is crisp, clean, perfectly exposed, and loks a bit like a futuristic harp -- except for the egg!

Fine camera work indeed.

Great idea and quite a good picture too, well lit.

To make it even better I would try to make the wires clearer against the white egg, perhaps a bit more contrast.

Also what about just starting to cut into the egg? The main thing about an egg slicer (to me) is the wires cutting the egg, It might add a touch of extra interest.

Thanks for the comments. The are the kinds of B&W pics I like to take.

Having the slicer go partially through the egg, was a thought of mine, but did not use an egg that was boiled, but one that was still in the shell. Good suggestion though!
