Well at 1am we were playing pool and got an idea that we thought we could try out. No tripod and i either used a huge box or the side of the table or the table itself. All shot with the kit lens once again. C&C is always welcome

1 ISO100 f/4.5 18.0mm 2sec. The ball actually tipped the bottom of the lens.

I dig the last one. The way the light shafts off the yellow ball on the first shot is very intriguing. The background on the others is distressingly distracting.

Thanks for the tip. Im gonna shoot on the other side of the table next time and clear everything away from the wall on the otherside since its an unfinished basement

nice shots. Think I will be going out to the garage next time a game is going on on our pool table!

haha thanks guys id like to see what some of the pros/experienced photographers have to say about it lol.

Next time im bringing the tripod, first shot caught the end of the lens thats why some of the balls look trippy

Agreed. Since you are at such a low shutter, the player's blurred a lot so it is better just to focus on the balls. And #2 has too much background clutter. Very nice idea. I like it.

Cool shots there - if you want some suggestions, how about turning off all the main lights and just have single lamp light up the table.

A single black light was what a friend of mine said but im pretty sure that would be to dark but i could try it out who knows we'll see what happens
