She's a local singer - a good friend of my brothers. She wanted some outdoor shots taken, so I took them for her. they're nothing special - just mem essing around with the 300D and the 50mm 1.8.

nicely exposed shots :) her skin tone seems a bit iffy, but maybe thats cos of the makeup?

the 50 f1.8 is my fave lens

I think they all are well exposed. Aesthetically, I prefer #3.

Nice job.

I like the third. If her hand were up against the tree I think it would be perfect. :)

My wife has just told me that she loves that blue top.
Good shot and nice depth to it, Good eye colour too, well done.

lovely shots but your rite shes wearing far to much makeup which kinda ruins them for me.. not the photographers fault though obviously

another vote for the third. I'll agree witht he other on the makeup. Also, althought the top is nice I feel it's like she's hiding behind it, like there is too much of it.

These are nice. I also like 3 the best!

Wow, these shots work for me. I even like the extreme makeup! Even though I see what they are saying about the top, I think it enhances her already "exotic looks". Nice work.

Thank you for the comments, they're much appreciated. I warned her about the make-up but she insisted and since they weren't really for my benefit, but rather hers, I didn't object.

She made the shirt herself, actually. She called it a poncho - it's just a few yards of fabric she picked up and incorporated into her outfit. I suggested that she not use it or as much of it, but once again - she refused. =)

Nice, but on my monitor they look a little over exposed. Maybe it's the lighting in your scene, there seems to be a lot of flare.

With those big wonderful eyes and those pouty lips, she probaby doesn't have to sing a note and still can draw a crowd!

Very nice shots! Were they taken on Long Island? I'm originally from Lindenhurst, and get a little homesick now and then :( Whereabouts were they taken? Thanks!

Funny you should say that, she's actually from Lindenhurst. Haha.

Yes, they were taken at Campaquatuck [at the Flight 800 memorial park] in Moriches, Long Island. =]

Thank you for all of the kind comments!
