B&H price - 799.95
buydig price - 742.49

Free delivery, too!

Got it at Staples. Normal price = $799.95. Used the online coupon for 12% off in-store purchases. Then also added the purchase to the Staples Rewards program which equals 5% cash back. Got free shipping by having it delivered to the store for customer pickup! Finally got one! Woo-Hoo!!

You'll love it. Buy some ink now too as it runs out pretty quickly :-)

Good deal, I might have to pick up this printer now with that deal.

Congratulations. You will love the printer.
Here is a link to where I buy ink. Cheapest place I have found.

B&H sells the inks kits fairly cheap. I think its like 105 for 9 inks...

Thanks, folks. I know I'll enjoy the printer. I've read a lot about it, the canon 9900, and the new canon pixma 9500 that has now been delayed.

Thanks for the links. I belong to another newsgroup with quite a few thousand members in it who all speak very highly about the 3rd party ink found on meritline.com (http://www.meritline.com/epson-stylus-photo-r2400-printer.html). A set of 18 cartridges is $81. I'm not ready to mess around with generic ink yet, but I'll probably be forced to consider it if I go bulk in the future.

Well, I got it. To be honest, I did not think I would. What with the discounts and the fact that staples had to eat the ups charge to deliver it to the store, I thought the local retail manager or somebody else along the way was going to question it. It has to be below staple's cost. but they came thru.

There's so much mark up in these products above a manufactures cost they still made money. Congrats on the printer as I've been putting that purchase off.
