with the quick changes in software and operating systems, are all canon digital SLRs Mac OX compatible, especially the 10D and 1Ds,
or are all most built for PC use?

Canon and Adobe software work great on OSX. CILE, unfortunately, does not have a Mac version at all; and last time I looked, the more expensive (much more expensive) version that runs on the Mac does not support the D60/10D RAW format. And, of course, you haven't really experienced Firewire until you've done it on a Mac.

I use my 10D and 1D exclusively on macs running os9.2 and OSX (ver 10.2) I have no problems what-so-ever. Firewire is a beatutiful thing to behold on a Mac, no drivers needed, it just works. The remote capture software works like a dream. The other canon software is not the greatest thing in the world but it is functional.
even this post was made on a Mac.

Plug and Play on the Mac; Plug & Pray on the PC (ask Bill Gates). After all they are the best graphics machine around.
