First SLR post

so...i finally got my SLR last month (350D) - and what a learning experience!!

lol - it's taken me this long to scratch up the confidence or get a decent enough shot to post.
i've started a photography course too in the meantime, and i've learnt loads.

i'm here to learn and to improve my photography so any, c&c always welcome! thanx for looking!

Just keep practicing shoot alot of pics throw away 1/2 of them if not more and shoot some more.

Just a course offered here in my home town. it's about 100 hours long.

The black and white one is really great, but the first could use some fill flash. Nice job, all in all. Keep shooting and posting!

The girl in the first shot has a natural look about her and the shot has good colour. The Black and white image is crisp and clear, good focus on the eye, nice ones.

Hair in the face is hard to do. Imho you've done it well in the first shot; I love it.

They look prety good to me. As liza said a little fill flash on the first would go a long way but otherwise very good.
