Ixus 400 power-up problem?

Hi all,

I bought an Ixus 400 recently and i was just wondering whether anybody else with that camera experiences a problem when powering it up?

I know that you're supposed to hold it down for about a second before it'll power up, but i have to hold the power button down for about 3 seconds before it'll power up.

I just wanted to see whether anyone else was having that problem, because i'm considering sending it back to Canon under warranty to have it fixed.

Did you make sure that the battery you are using is not starting to run low ?
