I want an online gallery/web portfolio. I was wondering if any of you have suggestions of what sites worked really well for you. I am into digital editing and portrait photography with digital backdrops and I am looking to start a business for taking pictures of other people and I need a site that allows me to display my work, sell my exsiting artwork, and also advertise for new clients.

Any suggestions for me?

I know how to host the photos, what I am looking for is a web page. I don't really need a full functioning web page and I know my boyfriends Aunt can help me design one if it comes down to that. I just need a site to display all of my work on one page or a few for now until I do get a web page designed.

I know there are programs and also some sites that professionals use where they despaly their pics in categories, but they are way too much money. I am looking for cheap and practical until I can get a web page in order

Is $12,5 a month expensive? Smugmug cost that.

You can probably find a webhost that cost less than that a month but the service/performance is probably also in the low end and You have to develop the site Yourself (get other to do it). With sites like smugmug You only need to upload and categorize the photos.

And there are several good free sites to upload Your photos listed in that link.

ps I am not using smugmug. it was just an example of the sites listed in the link I posted.
