Got this late last night from Canon. A link takes you to the firmware downloads, and the D-Rebel is showed as 1.1.1, the 10D is 2.0.0.
Seems Canon can't keep the two seperated, in their own minds.
"Greetings,
We are happy to announce the availability of a firmware update* that adds compatibility for a new industry standard for Direct Printing called "PictBridge".
The firmware will update the EOS Digital Rebel to v2.0.0 and provides the following:
1. Adds support for PictBridge (see description below).
2. Increased reliability when using the Remote Capture application with the camera.
3. Increased reliability in Windows XP and Mac OS X environments when the camera is directly connected using the [PTP] communication setting."
