i recently bought a very small and expensive nikon s5 for a female friend of mine, after a fall out the camera was returned and i put it in the glove compartment of my car and forgot about it, last week while working i found myself at a harbour at 4.30 am, dawn was just breaking and i was wishing i had my camera, i remembered the nikon in the car and tried my luck, i switched it on and took a pic , it was a pure point and shoot pic , no settings altered or scene mode selected, when i checked the pic out on my pc i was impressed, untill i read the exif data which read flash used , i cant see where the flash lighted up but i will be using this to try and get a refund

1. It was nice of her to give it back.
2. You got lucky it survived under such "brutal" treatment.
3. Not so bad a shot considering.
4. Such a "hardy" camera ought to be kept (or traded back to the original dealer).
5.

i currently own an s2, i already own a teleconverter plus the wide converter, i have a 1gig plus a 512 card, the nikon cost me £235.00
if i can trade this for something that the s2 might need i will do it, or maybe some dslr stuff ,failing that i i may start posting pics from the said camera, this one not taken by me did not need flash
