I would saly the last 2 are the best shots. on the cat, beautiful eyes, and don't be afraid to turn your camera around while shooting so you can naturally crop. If you were able to get down another inch or two would have really been able to maximize the eyes and get more of cat and less of background. That is why the last one works the best for the Lab. beautiful subjects there!

I agree with photodawg1, the last two are the best. The one of the cat makes him look really unhappy with you! ;)

Thats an appropriate name!!! He really is striking. Iwouldn't be able to stop taking pictures of him. What camera/lenses are you using?

Thanks! Just wait till I post some pictures of his sister, Matilda. Black persian with amber eyes.

I used Drebel XT with the kit lens. My Sigma 17-70 should be arriving today.

Where skill gives out, software helps by compensating for the natural lack of aptitude :) Well, in my case, anyway. I just rotated the image and cropped it after.

LOL! I love it! I bet you lab gives Churchill a wide berth!!! He is such a striking fellow.
