For anyone interested, the ABSoft team has released their v.1.0 Home edition of NeatImage today. This version allows you to save images to TIFF and JPEG. I've been playing with their v.1.0 Demo release and have found it to be faster than their beta versions.
Anyway, the final price is $30 US.
