Photo editor doesn't load if ...

Hi,

I've recently been trying out EE and find it very useful but I've found one minor annoyance that I've not seen discussed anywhere.

In Miscellaneous settings under the Global Settings for 'When image file is not found', if I choose '3. Use EE's substitute error image for main photos only (normal performance)' ... so that I can get the image map navigation active ... I find that I then can't open the photo editor. In order to open the photo editor I have to change that global setting to '1. Let browser handle error icons on all pages (fastest performance)'.

I'm Currently using EE1.5b4 with fix packs 1 & 2. I also had this same issue with 1.30RC.

Is it something I'm doing wrong or is it a bug?

I can not reproduce this problem here. Photo editor does not use misc settings at all so I can not see how that should affect it.

Can you still reproduce that bug with latest beta (beta 5 fix pack 2)?

Hi Pekka,

I've installed 1.5b5 and fix packs 1 & 2 and I can reproduce this problem. I can email my input URL to you if you'd like to experience this first hand and also check out all my settings. Let me know if this would help.
