View Full Version : Know any good places to take pictures in the Toronto area?

hi all, was just wondering does anyone have any suggestions of where would be nice places to take photos in around toronto, also where can i see the sea? and good for sunsets, nature etc, am new here so just wondering thank you:):)

Toronto Islands, in particular Ward's Island is very good this time of year. The view of the Toronto skyline from the island at sunset is spectacular.
Also Kensington market and the Don Valley Brick Works are great spots for pictures.
To give you an idea of what there is you can check out this photoblog. The pictures were mainly taken in Toronto. You'll have to flip through a few though as the last several haven't been.

Niagra Falls is only a little over an hour away.
Don't go in winter, though. It's just a crazy, special kind of cold in winter...

also where can i see the sea?
um, no, u cannot see the sea from T.O., UNLESS you have a very long lens.:lol:

Dr.T, Steve Parr, Rubi Jane, haha smuckers, well i admit am silly but do know there is no place to see the sea:) i meant the lake, and just used sea generically(yours is textbook tounge in cheek reply hehe), Rubi thanks for the kind invitation, lets see if i can make it, :) Diane the places you have mentioned sound great and someone had mentioned the brick works to me, will check them out:)
