Will Compact Flash From Russia Work In North American Camera

I am off to Russia in November should I buy another compact flash card here in Canada or will Russian compact flash work fine in my G3 Thanks

If you format it in camera, it should work fine. The Compact Flash is like a floppy disk, it is just a standardized digital media capable of being written to.

Ok thanks I was worried about having some internal programing on card that was in different language that may not work

I would assume that any "Compact Flash" card will work - I kind of doubt whether any are actually made in Russia.

The question is: why would you even take the chance? Are they that much cheaper there?
