I'm looking to purchase a graduated ND filter. I saw that lensmate sells Hoya for $50.
http://www.lensmateonline.com/buy.html
and B&H has Heliopan for $53, B+W for $43 and Tiffen for $32:

I wonder if there is any difference in quality between those brands. Is it worth to spend extra $10-$20 to get a more expensive brand instead of Tiffen?

I believe Hoya and Heliopan use better optical coatings of their glass to cut down glare and preserve contrast. I know there is a difference between Tiffen filters and my Hoya HMC filters when I put them on a good lens in terms of reducing glare and improving contrast. It may not make that much difference on a G3's lens though.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Thanks a lot for your response. I have more questions. ;) I noticed that B+W filter is made from "CR-39 acrylic". Is it good or bad? ;) Also, the Hoya filter sold by lensmate, is it HMC ?
