I just returned from a wonderful trip to Europe. I popped my Memory card into the drive on my pc and proceeded to view as slide show. Halfway thru the slide show I noticed only the very top of my pictures were appearing.
I copied them to a cd anyway but when I view the cd I have the same problem.
I can see all the images on the thumbnail but when I click on the thumbnail I only see a partial image.
Then to make matters worse I put the Memory Card back into my camera and it says no image!!!
Can I get these pictures back??? Any info would be great!

Gustavo,
Don't panic - but don't do anything with the CF card yet!
DO NOT USE IT...............
Go to http://www.convar.de
and download their PC Inspector File Recovery program.
It's freeware and works.
Install the program and use it as instructions to try and recover the images from the CF card - I take it that you have a card reader (rather than using the camera to download from)? If not you should get one to use for the recovery.
Best of luck.

Dont dispair. As long as you DO NOT WRITE OVER your card you may be able to recover.I did the exact same thing and was able to recover the lost images using Digital Image Recovery, also a freeware program from Germany .
Go to
http://www.foto-erhardt.de
good luck

And be careful using that CF card for critical photos. Another thing is that you sometimes get random errors with CF cards. For what reason, I don't know. What I do is I copy all the files to my hard disk before doing anything with them, including viewing them or doing a rotation. Once, I had about 200 photos on my CF card and did a lossless JPG rotation on them using Breezebrowser and I got the same problem you did on two pictures. Nothing major, but something goofed somewhere and I lost two pictures.
Copy all files to Hard Drive first and then play with them!
My two cents.
