Help!

Without a doubt I'm a newbie to digital. I picked up this week the Canon 300D Digital.

My problem is in my menu there is no setting to take the picture in RAW. In the manual on p48 it shows that there should be a RAW setting. Everything I read online says it will shoot RAW.

The only settings I have in my menu are two for each of the following:
1. Large-2 choices
2. Med-2 choices
3. Small-2 choices

My firmware ver. is 1.0.2

Any ideas?

You have your camera over in the creative zone. It only shoots JPEGs over there. Switch it over to P, TV, AV, etc and then look at your menu.

P.S. Is there any way you can make that picture in your sig bigger? I can hardly make it out.

As to my sig pic, it is my gaming sig. Tis a little large but if it was smaller you could not see that my boy looks just like me!

Now as for yours I was having a hard time seeing it so I enlarged it a little....

HAHA! Too funny. I was just teasing (as you know). It doesn't bother me at all. I have cable so it's no big deal. Noce to see someone else around here with a sense of humor.

Glad you have humor! So many today don't. I do websites, java, online gaming and now pictures for fun!
