Hello out there. Can you please explain how to delete an image in Zoombrowser that is read only? or a folder that contains read only images. The message I get is "Zoombrowser unable to delete these folders"
Thank you.
PS, stick with Zoombrowser 3.3.2.

Hi,
Is it perhaps that they are read-only in the OS.
Check the properties of the folder in question and look for the read-only attribute, if set turn it off then you should be able to delete the folder.
Search your OS help system for "attributes".
Hope this helps.

Thanks for trying but I have been unable to change the "read
only" attributes. I can't delete the image or the folder.

Hi David!
Be sure that the Zoombrowser application is not running while trying to delete files/folders.
Try to restart the pc, again follow the advice snapperv6 gave you. Then it should work.

Turn off all your programs. Reboot your computer.
Open up Windows Explorer
Find your files
Select your Files or the major directory that contains all your files
Right-Click on it and click off the "Read Only" check box
Hit OK
If it asks to apply this to current level or all subdirectories, select the "apply to all subdirectories"
The files are now erasable.
Good luck.
