Su Jian with some audio product. In hindsight there should be another light or at least a reflector to bring out the brand. Oh well, till the next shoot.

Awesome shot, probably better to post in Glamour (just ask a mod for help with that)
My only grip with this photo is her right arm is cut off!! OUCH!!!
Other then that, really nice lighting, detail and all! Beautiful!

Hi andy
Contacted a mod. Hopefully this thread will be in the right section. Thanks for your comments - yeah, it's a pity that her hand is out, but the other shots where her hand was in the frame her expression wasn't too good. :)

Great shot, I agree that the product needs some more light on it.

I think that's a great shot. Can't think of much for critique. Her pose is fairly plain, which is what you want for displaying a product. She's also thin enough to pose 'head on" like that.
Well done.

Well it's considered glamour because of the setup. Generall people shots are more like candid shots. family shots, like that.
This glamour to due to it's lighting techniques involved. Not to mention, there are a lot of people in the glamour forum who have a lot of expierence in this sort of setup.
On the other hand Glamour doesn't have to be 18+, Glamour doesn't need nudity.
Take a look at this thread? No Nudity.
I guess it just depends on your perspective. What I'm saying though, is if you want advice on lighting, that's the better place to ask.

Nicely done, but she should have worn something a bit lighter in colour so you could see the product better.

SHANGHAI:
I can't really remember whether this was a 3 or 5 light setup... if it's a 5 lights setup then two lights would have been pointed at the backdrop. I think it's most likely a 3 light setup I used - 2 lights at the back - 1 light pointing at each of her side. Flags were used to prevent flare. The main light is fitted with a silver brolly to add some shine to the skin.
Some PS work was done to retouch her skin and bring out some shininess. :)

I like it, with minor exceptions that the others have mentioned...arm cut off and the darkness of the product name.
Great job!
