Anyone used the Sigma - AF 15-30mm f/3.5-4.5 EX DG Asp with a D30. Cannot find much info on the web

Delta has them for $495. I'm looking for something below by 28 - 70 L

Any info or examples welcome

I have this lens and am quite satisfied with it. At a $1000 less than the 16-35 you really can't go wrong. I've made some 13x19 prints that look excellent. I also have a Canon 28-70L, Canon 50 1.4, Canon 100 USM macro, Canon 100-400L so I have some good lenses to compare it to.

Hope this helps. :D

Hi,

I used this lens on the D30, and it's one of my favorite lens. Here are some night shots I took with this lens and the D30.

A wonderful lens for the price/quality.

Nice photos. To bad the applicable camera setting couldn't be displayed with the shots. Did you have to do much adjustments in PS?

Is it just me, or AF motor on this lens seems to be too weak? It seems it is barely focusing this lens...

I love my 15-30mm...I use it on at lease 50% of my shots. It seems to focus faster than my Canon 28-135 IS. I'm starting to research what Sigma has to offer in a long lens, if the 15-30 is any indication of their quality.
