I couldn't believe it. I actually had Saturday off. So I jumped in the car and shot over to San Anselmo to see the burgermister. Yep! Bubba's Diner.

Dante is a gracious host and his place hums. He does it all. He's a bus boy, waiter, and owner. I bet he cleans windows also. Wow! to much goodies to choose from. My burger was wonderful, and the shake.....to die for. He kindly added an union ring to the fries. I've never seen union rings like that. I think I could use it as a lens hood it so big and light, and that was just one of them. Can't imagine the full onion ring plate.

He's as great in person as on POTN. But he's been holding back on us. Didn't know he was a 1/4 scale remote plane addict.

I don't want to see anymore ducks Dante, its time for some of those WWII 1/4 scale planes. Opps! better check the forum that may have such things.

And after all that I didn't embarras him by taking his picture. ugh!

Thanks again Dante for an enjoyable lunch and chat. See you soon. I'm certainly planing to go back. Next time I'll plan better and see if some POTN folks want to go along.

It was great seeing you too David! That Chocolate-Chocolate Fudge shake is pretty darn good if I do say so myself. Did you go to shoot up on Mount Tam Watershed? How about linking some picks to your outing to Marin County, would love to see them!!!!

I started heading that way. When I started up the hill I couldn't believe it. I was driving right into clouds. It was so think it fogged the inside of my car. So I headed to Stension Beach. Yike! it was thick clouds all the way down. For as far as I could see. I drove the coast highway (101) for a little then went home. When I got home I realized that I should have shot some of the eerie looking clouds in the forest. Everything was grey. But it made a great scouting trip for next time.

I have a bunch of creeepy Point Reyes shots like that! I took them because I was there; and I'm glad I did!

I'll keep the address in my truck the next time I head north on a road trip.
