A different egret shot

Couldn't get very close to this one. I was trying out my 200 L f/2.8 with a new Kenko 1.4 extender. I like the water effect although don't know how it will look downsized to fit on here.

I like it, it's certainly different, although it's a shame there wasn't just a hint of the bird head. Good shot!

I think you have the white balance wrong. These birds are not yellow hehehe :) Other then that... you sure its not an ostrich?? ;)

Nice capture! Anyone that has watched these guys hunt for food, has seen this pose a few times. Great timing! I like it :)
