G1s rising from the dead

I too have a G1 that I have been using around 2 years now, and am worried the fuse will blow after reading all of the posts. My question is this - is this a recurring problem? Once the fuse is fixed will it blow again in another 2 years or so?

the poster was told by Canon that the fuse problem is caused by a "loose screw" Hopefully, when its repaired, that problem gets taken care of.
