Anyone know where to get it? I would like to get some to take reflection type pictures. Is there any particular brand or type that's best? I looked on ebay but they only had small sizes. Mirrored plexiglass seems harder to find than regular plexiglass.

I've never seen it, but I have purchased mylar (in silver and gold) for similar type shots. It may not be to your liking though as it wrinkles pretty easily.

Well I found some mirrored plexiglass on backdropoutlet.com (I think) and I'm wondering if I should go w/ the regular plexiglass instead. I think I would like a more subtle/softer reflection. Any suggestions on thickness? Mylar may not be a good choice for me as I mostly photograph children and they can be rough....

Maybe tape the mylar to a sheet of plexi, keeping it taut? Use the plexi side as your reflector, and that will protect the mylar from the kidlets... probably would give you a somewhat subtle reflection, especially if you used a grey smoked plexiglas. (And you could flip the mylar side out if you needed more of a mirror-like surface.)

it could cost alot, but what about layering some clear perspex, mylar and then smoked perspex? it would be tough, and provide two types of reflection.

I would like to get some to take reflection type pictures. Specifically, what kind of "reflection type pictures" & why mylar? It will distort, or is that why you can't use a mirror in a frame?
