Hi
I took this one early morning when the sun was low and directly hitting the autumn foliage which made these amazing colours on the water. It looks like gold! The swans happened to cooperate quite nicely too I think! So what do you think of it?

I like the picture a lot.
Three things seem to be "right" about it: of course the colors, second, the position of the swans, in terms of composition, seem about perfect to me, and third, your frame with the wiggly, orange brown line reflects (no pun intended) the colors of the reflections in the water.

Wow. That is unreal. It looks like something out of some idealistic mythology.

Gotta agree with the rest! Beautiful colors, beautiful subjects, beautiful composition. The framing is a very nice (and original) addition. Great job!

Wow, Wow, Wow. Awesome picture. You know I've been on a few other websites and have had many people indicate that framing the picture takes away from the originality. But for me and especially with this beautiful picture, the frame really adds and focuses in on the composition. The picture would be very strong with out the frame, but like all pictures, the frame really adds the finishing touches, when done artitistically. This picture is EXCELLENT all around. Great, Great job!!!

Thank you. I'm really pleased with the framing too. I don't think I realised at the time just how 'fitting' it was. But now I do!

Martin.

Great shot, although I would try to brighten up the swans a little (based on the view on my laptop).
