s50 vs g5

Hi friends,
I am new to canon cameras . Would appreciate some advice on how to choose between the two. What is teh difference besides both being 5 MPs camera.

1. flip side LCD on the G5 that is not in the S50
2. optical zoom x4 in G5 and x3 in s50
3. you can connect external flash in G5 (hot shoe) but you will need a slave flash if you want one in the s50
4. s50 is more compact that G5
5. s50 is cheaper

Hey Dennis.

Do like this...go to http://www.canon.co.uk and go to products, choose cameras, and which cameras you are interrested in, and then click "compare".

You'll gets specs from both cameras.
