... and some windows which are not that clean. (But just think if you had to clean all the lamps which are in the 1st pic.) - Venice (Merano), Italy 1st week of July.

LOVE the pic of the woman cleaning windows! Those are a lot of lamps..lovely however! :D

LOVE the pic of the woman cleaning windows! Those are a lot of lamps..lovely however! :DThanks Rachel! She was actually cleaning the windows of a very discreet lamp shop, selling famous and absolutely beautiful Fortuny lamps.

I am really jealous of all the great pics you have of Italy and elsewhere! Beautiful shots! :D

More winners! Love the clarity and colors. The glimpses of the lamps in number one make the shot for me. very beckoning and peaceful yet a bit dissonant to the apparent vigor with which the woman is washing that window!

~wuYou had a good eye for the contrast in this pic, Wu. The story behind: the woman was not pleased at all when I was shooting her (she was probably more worried taking the pictures about the lamps that herself), but when we entered her shop she noticed that we could have a civilized discussion as well. ;)
