I notice that the A80 and several other CANON camera's have a field in the Exif data for camera owner. Does anyone know how to set this in the camera so it adds it to every picture?

Think it can be set via Zoombrowser or another program
that uses the Canon Camera SDK

Connect your camera to zoombrowser, and while connected, below the panel showing all the pictures on the camera, is a little menu item called My Camera or maybe something like Camera Settings. You can go and update the camera owner, and upload sounds and stuff.

It's been a long time since I used that feature, but I think that's where it is.

Yea, it's also doable in Remote capture...which is where I found it the first time.

stduc,

When did you get the A80?

I hope that you will continue to provide us A70 users with useful posts.

I don't really want to install zoom browser - but I gather I can just connect the camera to XP - so I guess it its 'make a restore point' and unwrap the cable time.
When I got my A20 I also got a card reader, so I have never installed any of CANON's software. I'll let you all know how I get on.
