Hi, I've just got a X-Drive portable storage unit, and it works great, but there's only one problem. When I try to import my pictures directly into Zoombrowser it's not possible the import function doesn't even list a drive other than import from camera or from the drive that's allocated to my card reader. Is it possible to import the pictures directly into ZoomBrowser from the X-Drive or will I always have to copy the data onto rhe Hard Drive and then from there drag&drop in my Zoombrowser, I'm using windows XP and it's one of the first X-Drives not an X-Drive 2, and I only shoot RAW.
I appreciate your help, or any attempts to help.

Thank you!

I'm not sure how everyone else does it; but I just got mine today and here's what I just set up.

Zoombrowser doesn't recognize the Drive as a Camera or CF card as you mentioned and simply copying the image files over to the computer doesn't auto-rotate portraits or process RAW.

I used Canon's File Viewer Utility (which auto-rotates) and set the File\Preferences to use the File Viewer Utility to perform the file transfer.

That's one way you can do it with Canon's own software. I don't have BB or C1 so I cannot comment on perhaps a better method but that's what I've done thus far.

Thanks again

What is the Canon file view utility I don't have with my D60 software. Did you purchase it extra or did it come with your camera? If you see this let me know please.

Thanks
