loose dial

Hi all,

I recently purchased a G3 and love it...all but a couple of pet pieves. One may be a problem with the camera and wanted to see if anyone else is expeiriencing this. The mode dial is very easy to turn and it has accidently changed modes when hanging over my shoulder and the dial was rubbed by something. I wouldn't have even noticed how loose it is, but a friend of mine has a G2 and the dial has a much more positive "click" in each mode and I can't see it moving accidentally.


Does anyone else find this, or do I have a loose dial ?

Your mode dial should have some resistence. It turns in click stops. If it moving that easy I would bring it back and get a new one. By the way you will love the Camera.

I have had it for a couple weeks and do love it.
Not much resistance on the dial, but it does click.

Your camera's mode dial is faulty if wearing it can change it. Mine clicks neatly into place as I turn it and I have yet to change is accidentally by having the camera around my neck or in hand.
